Submit a strategy for approval
What happens when you hit Send for approval — who sees it, where it goes, and how long it takes.
Stratogizer ships with a built-in approval workflow so AI-generated strategy never goes out the door without a human signing off. This page covers exactly what happens when you hit Send for approval — who gets notified, where the work shows up, and what state your campaign moves into.
- Who can submit
- Anyone with access to the campaign (members, viewers excepted)
- Who reviews
- Workspace owners — they get the email and the inbox item
- Campaign status moves to
- Pending review
- Notifications go via
Think of it as: the campaign holds your work; the approval is a formal request for a workspace owner to sign off on a specific moment in time.
How to do it
Send a campaign for approval
- 1
Open the campaign
Go to Campaigns in the sidebar and click into the campaign you want approved. You'll see the strategy runs you've generated for it.
- 2
Click Send for approval
The button is on the campaign card (and you can also use the Send step in the four-step campaign journey at the top of the card). A confirmation modal opens.
- 3
Add a note (optional)
The note is a short message to the reviewer — useful for highlighting what changed, what to look at, or any context that helps them review quickly. Leave it blank if you don't have anything specific to flag.
- 4
Confirm
The campaign status flips to Pending review. Stratogizer creates an approval record, links it to every strategy run currently in the campaign, and emails the workspace owners.
What happens on the other side
What the reviewer sees
The workspace owner receives an email immediately. In Stratogizer, the campaign appears in their Approvals inbox (sidebar → Approvals; the badge shows how many are waiting). From there they can:
- Read the full strategy that was generated, with all the inputs you used.
- Click Approve — the campaign moves to Approved, you get an email, and the campaign is ready to export.
- Click Request revision — they leave per-strategy feedback, the campaign moves to Revision requested, and you get an email with what they want changed.
If a revision is requested
Acting on feedback
When the reviewer requests a revision, the campaign sits in Revision requested with the feedback visible on the campaign card. You'll usually:
- Read the per-strategy feedback the reviewer left.
- Open the relevant strategy and Edit & regenerate, adjusting inputs based on the notes — your previous inputs are remembered so you only tweak what's changing.
- Hit Send for approval again. Stratogizer creates a new approval cycle and keeps the previous one as history.
