Quick answers to the questions every new Stratogizer user asks in their first week. If you don't see yours, the sidebar to the left has a how-to for almost everything.

Getting started

How long does it take to set up?

About 25 minutes from sign-up to your first AI-generated, exportable strategy. The bulk of that is uploading a couple of brand documents and writing a short brand system prompt. The actual generation takes 1–3 minutes per run.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Free signup gets you an account on the Basic plan, which is enough to try the platform with one brand. Upgrade when you want more companies, more seats, or more storage.

Can I invite my team before I do anything else?

You can — invitations work from day one. We usually suggest setting up at least one company with brand context first, so when teammates join there's something for them to see. See Share access with your team.

Plans & limits

How many companies can I have?

Depends on your workspace plan: Basic = 1 company, Pro = 5, Custom = unlimited. The limit is enforced when you try to create a new company — Stratogizer tells you clearly if you've hit it.

How much can I upload?

Each user has a 50 MB soft limit on their personal asset library. We show a usage bar in the sidebar. Company and campaign documents have per-file size limits (25 MB for documents, 10 MB for logos), but don't currently count toward the per-user soft limit. See Storage limits.

The AI itself

Which AI model does Stratogizer use?

Anthropic Claude. We use the current generation Sonnet model for most generations because it's the right balance of quality, speed and cost. You don't pick the model — Stratogizer chooses the right one per workflow.

What does the AI actually read?

Three things: the structured inputs you fill into the wizard, your brand's system prompt, and any documents you've toggled on for generation in the Asset Library. The AI doesn't browse the web or read your other companies — generations are scoped to the company you're working in.

Why does the same brief give different strategies?

Two reasons. First, language models are non-deterministic by design — small variations are normal. Second, generation quality compounds: each new brand asset, each round of feedback, and each updated system prompt sharpens the next run. The third or fourth strategy you generate for a brand is usually noticeably better than the first.

Privacy & security

Where does my data live?

On Supabase (Postgres + object storage) in the EU. Row-Level Security in the database isolates each workspace's data — even your data is only visible to people you've explicitly invited and granted access to.

Is my brand data used to train AI models?

No. Anthropic doesn't train on API inputs by default, and we don't opt in. Your briefs, brand assets and generated strategies stay yours.

Who can see my company's data inside my workspace?

Workspace owners see everything in the workspace. Members and viewers only see companies you've explicitly granted them access to. See Share access with your team for the role model.

Approvals & exports

Does everything have to go through approval?

No — approval is a workflow you choose when you're ready to formalise a strategy. You can generate, regenerate and tinker freely. Send for approval when you want a workspace owner to sign off.

Can I export without approval?

Yes. Every generated strategy has an Export PDF button from the moment it's complete. Approval is about brand control, not gating the export.

Can I white-label the PDF for my client?

Yes. In the company edit sheet, toggle off the Stratogizer watermark. Exports will use your company's logo and colours instead. See Brand output settings.

Integrations

How does the Google connection in SEO/GEO work?

You authorise Stratogizer once per company via Google OAuth. After that, the connection is shared by everyone on your team who has access to that company — they don't each need to reconnect. Tokens are encrypted at rest. See Run an SEO / GEO audit.

Do I need Google Analytics for SEO/GEO to work?

No. Search Console is the primary data source. GA4 is optional — if you connect it, the audit includes landing-page behaviour data and the recommendations are richer. If you don't, the audit still works.

Troubleshooting

I started a generation and it's been stuck "pending" for ages.

Generations usually finish in 1–3 minutes. If one's been pending for more than 5 minutes, refresh the page — the status updates automatically. If it's still stuck after 30 minutes, the platform admin can mark it failed from the admin portal. In practice this almost never happens.

I'm getting "permission denied" when I try to do something.

Likely a role issue. The most common one: you're a member or viewer trying to do something only workspace owners can do (create a company, approve a campaign, manage SEO connections). Ask your workspace owner. See Share access with your team for who can do what.

The page looks like it loaded but is stale / broken / weird.

We've shipped a new version since you opened the tab. Stratogizer usually prompts you to refresh — accept that prompt. If you don't see the prompt and something looks off, a hard refresh resolves it.
